In-person Classes

WED or THUR 6 -7pm, at Club Central Yoga Room

  • Community Yoga - 1st Thursday of October, good for beginners to try.

  • Weekly Yoga - Rest of the Wednesdays of October, good for regular practice.

*** Offer limited to residents who have their own access to Club Central. New dates will be added to the system as we get closer.

About the classes

  • Classes are offered to help the community enjoy movement and feel better in their body. I offer traditional hatha yoga practice. You can find more details about hatha yoga in the last 2 sections.

  • Beginner-friendly! I offer different variations of poses so you can find the one that suits your body.

  • Community Yoga - 1st week of the month, at no cost or donation-based. Donation links below or in the booking page - click details.

  • Weekly Yoga - The rest of the weeks of the month are $15.75/class.

Requirements before booking

  • All participants under your reservation have no medical conditions that they are aware of, which would prevent them from taking part in classes or workshops before booking.

  • All Participants are required to sign a waiver before their first class. The waiver will be sent via email automatically by the system after your reservation. Participants who are under 18 will need their guardians to sign the waivers.

About Ira (CYT 500, PT, MA)

I help people with lingering hip or lower back pain due to a sedentary lifestyle to move confidently and return to their daily tasks and activities they love!

What to Bring?

  • Please bring your own mat.

  • I will provide yoga blocks for everyone but feel free to bring your props

  • If you like a bit of cushion on your knee or other body parts but don't have a yoga blanket, bringing a towel would be a great alternative. We are using it on the floor, so bring something you don't mind getting dirty.

  • Any comfortable clothes that allow you to move well are great!

  • Water bottle if needed.

What will you experience?

  • Most of the time, there will be standing postures, seated postures and reclined postures.

  • Different variations of poses will be offered, so you can find the one that suits your body.

  • Poses held of several breaths.

  • Heart rate increase.

  • Muscle engagement.

  • Internal and external focus.
