Each of these approaches has real value and has helped many people — and the practitioners behind them care about what they do. And yet, you feel confused why your issue is not solved for good...
Chiropractor
Your alignment was fixed with a crack. Real progress! Chiropractors are skilled at what they do. But that new sense of alignment didn’t stick around because your muscles and fascia are off balance.
Physiotherapy
You were given exercises — probably good ones. But "I know I should do them, I just didn't." is one of the most common things people say. That gap between knowing and doing isn't a willpower problem.
Massage therapy
The relief was real, and so was the skill behind it. But when the pace of healing can't match the pace of strain, the tension finds its way back.
Online exercises/YouTube
Accessible, well-intentioned, and genuinely useful for many people. But movement that works for someone else's body isn't always the right fit for yours.
Acupuncture
Highly effective at restoring flow and releasing tension — for those who can commit to it. But you are not a fan of needles…(/lol)
Doctor visits
They ruled out what needed to be ruled out. That matters. But it doesn't always explain why you're still in pain — and it can leave you feeling dismissed and without direction.
Sometimes what's missing isn't the treatment itself —
it's a way to see how everything fits together for you specifically.
Treating symptoms ≠ Treating the root cause. Pain that lingers is rarely just one thing.
When you're in pain, there's so much happening inside you at once. Your body moves differently to protect the area, creating new tension elsewhere. Your brain picks up on the threat and generates fearful thoughts. Those thoughts feed stress — and stress has a very real effect on how much pain you feel. It's not imaginary. It's biology.
Your nervous system is at the center of all of it — connecting your movement, your thoughts, and your emotional state. That's why addressing only one piece often isn't enough for lasting relief.
This isn't a failure of effort. It's a sign that the approach needs to be as whole as you are.

You're always in control. Every movement is an invitation. Don't like something? I'll find other ways to support you. Movement should feel good physically and emotionally.
Sessions adapt to you. No two sessions are exactly the same. I check in with your body, thoughts, and feelings to care for you as a whole person, then adjust accordingly.
Quality over quantity. We go slow and prioritize safety and stability first.
Drawing from diverse movement practices – I use Hatha yoga, therapeutic yoga, and personal training principles to find the right movements, intensity, and approach for your unique body.
Additional support when needed. If challenges come up between sessions, bring them to me. I'll take time to contemplate and collaborate with you on practical strategies – whether that's creating break routines or adapting your movement plan to fit your schedule.
